After a stellar first season with LA Galaxy in the MLS, Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic vowed to break all the league’s all-time records.

People from the United States of America are currently going through some of the worst times in their recent history, they don’t know how much of a gift Zlatan Ibrahimovic is to the MLS and how much it can refine their taste in competitive sports.

We all know that Americans usually remain very narrow-minded about this topic, they tend to stick to their American football, baseball or basketball without giving real football a chance.

This is by no means disrespect to all those other sports which are great, but nothing can be compared to the joy that the most popular sport in the world brings to billions of people every day.

Now that a historic player like Zlatan Ibrahimovic has graced the United States of America with his presence, this might be the perfect opportunity to turn millions of people to the king of sports around the world.

The Swedish striker already gave them all a small taste of what he can do, he was coming fresh out of a nasty knee injury and he still got an incredible 22 goals and 7 assists practically limping for LA Galaxy.

Whenever you are feeling sad and want to smile for a few minutes, we recommend that you play Zlatan’s first ever MLS season and see what all the fuzz is about.

On his first full season for LA Galaxy, the Swedish legend didn’t only leave that beautiful first impression to all the football fans that already exist in the MLS, he also became the revelation player of the season in a year that also had the incredible irruption of Wayne Rooney for DC United.

We honestly don’t think that the fans in the US are ready for what’s coming this season in regards to game level, having players like Wayne or Zlatan will inevitably take the competition to a whole new level and people will be talking about it for generations to come.

Ibra has been preparing for this new season for the last few months, he recently offered an interview in which he spoke about his Manchester United past and how much he appreciated his time in the Premier League.

However, the MLS fans were longing for a declaration in which the Swedish giant could let the world know what his intentions are for this new season.

MLS All-Star Game – Partly Good and Partly Bad

The MLS All-Star Game, an annual soccer event where select players from the league play against a team from one of the top European leagues got invited to face them.

Zlatan was frustrated last season for now being able to qualify to the playoffs, but he’s been busting his ass to be that same incredible striker that we all fell in love during his spell in European football and we have no doubt in our minds that we are going to get exactly that.

The hype started a couple of days ago in the official jersey presentation for LA Galaxy, it obviously had Zlatan Ibrahimovic as the featured player where he offered an extended interview with the presenter where he reminded the fans if that opening day of the season for him.

Ibrahimovic scored an insane volley on that day, but Zlatan went even further. The Swedish striker made the following vow after his veteran status was mentioned: “This season I’m going to bring something to you (the fans).”

“Because they say I’m old, I’m looking to break all the records in the MLS this season,” said Zlatan in front of hundreds of LA Galaxy fans via MLS Soccer’s official website.

Even though Zlatan Ibrahimovic never won a Champions League trophy throughout his career, it is pretty clear that he has everything to completely dominate the MLS for a few more years before he retires because he simply is a player with a different class compared to the rest.

We know that the man will at least give it his best shot, and leave us all in awe with his special talent to score goals by the time the season is over in this competition.
