Zlatan: Man United-Barca will be a very attractive game to watch

Zlatan Ibrahimovic believes the Champions League showdown between Manchester United and Barcelona will be very exciting to watch.

The widely travelled Swedish footballer played for both clubs Barça (2009/10) and Manchester United (2016-18)- went on to win major honours during his spell.

Ahead of the Champions League tie between the two sides, Zlatan gave his insight on the game.

The Swedish striker said that the game will be “very interesting, with two clubs with great history. It will be very attractive to watch.”

When asked about Messi and Pogba’s influence on their teams, he said via Barca website: “Lionel Messi makes the difference every time he plays,” and singled out Paul Pogba as the man to watch for Barça’s opposition.


Gary Neville blasts Man United after humiliating defeat

Manchester United legend Gary Neville slammed the club's disastrous performance that led to a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Everton.

“He’s the one who makes the difference for Manchester United,” he commented, although he pointed to teamwork as being the key to getting through to the next round of the competition.

Zlatan was part of the Barca side that fell short to Inter Milan in the 2010 semi-finals Champions League tournament but still reckons the Spanish champions are still are a big force in Europe.

“Wherever we went, people had great respect for the team,” and explaining that he liked playing for Barça because “the team were very strong.

Ibrahimovic will be among those watching what promises to be a Champions League thriller on Wednesday.
