Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola has urged Eden Hazard to go on and smash his best-ever scoring season at Stamford Bridge.
Eden Hazard has been in superb form for Maurizio Sarri’s men despite the club’s inconsistent displays.
However, Chelsea’s assistant manager Zola a cult hero back in his playing days for the club from 1996 and 2003, believes the Belgian forward could be more prolific.
In the Italian’s last season for the club, Zola contributed 14 goals and seven assists in 38 Premier League games.
On the hand, the Belgian skipper’s most productive season in 2016/17 produced 16 goals and five assists.
And Zola whose side welcome Wolves on Sunday has urged the 28-year-old, currently on 12 goals and 11 assists to his name in 2018/19, to go on and beat his personal best.
“He is a fantastic player, extremely good,” said Zola in an exclusive interview with Sky Sports.
“He has unbelievable potential and it seems to me that he is getting better and better each season.
“It is a pleasure to be on the bench and see him playing for you, as he is one of those players who makes things happen.

“I am pleased he is going to be breaking the previous best stats records in the club, but I am not surprised as I see what he can do.”
The last time both teams met Wolves ran away 2-1 winners and the Blues reckon they need a win to maintain their hopes of a Champions League ticket.
