Borussia Dortmund isn’t having a dream start to the season as Favre looks unable to repeat last year’s results early on.
Jose Mourinho was rumored to be the next Borussia Dortmund manager since Favre is on the hot seat.
These rumors gained weight after it became public that Mourinho is learning German.
This would be the perfect opportunity for “The Special One” to manage in all top four European leagues.
According to Mirror, Michael Zorc, addressed these rumors, stating his faith in Favre:
“We are not having a coach discussion and are happy to have Lucien Favre,” Zorc said.
“These rumours around Mourinho lack any substance.”
Lucien Favre will try to turn things around as his team just suffered a 1-0 loss to Inter.
However, Dortmund is keeping up with the top of the league as Borussia club is at fourth, just a point behind the league-leading Borussia Monchengladbach.
They are tied with their most probable title rivals, Bayern Munich, who dominate the league since Klopp left Dortmund.
A big issue at Dortmund nowadays are the latest events with Jadon Sancho who was fined for arriving late after the national break.
