Brazilian winger Douglas Costa is reportedly targeted for a summer move by Tottenham Hotspur

Having not played as much as he wanted at Allianz Arena, Costa is unsettled and has recently vented his frustration about the lack of playing time. With Carlo Ancelotti favoring the old guard of Bayern Munich – Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben have started regularly on the wings this season – Costa might have to move on in order to get the playing minutes he desires.
Spurs recent experience with wingers has not been the best, with Erik Lamela being injury- plagued and Moussa Sissoko’s transfer from Newcastle not raising to Mauricio Pochettino’s expectations. The Argentinian manager is keen to boost his options before Tottenham’s Champions League challenge next season and sees Douglas Costa as the perfect fit to fill the void of wingers in his current squad.
Costa, who is valued at €30m, has scored 14 goals and assisted 27 in 74 appearances for Bayern Munich, since his arrival in 2015.
