After failing to sign the Spanish striker from Deportivo la Coruna last season, PSG will make a new attempt to lure Lucas Perez, this time from Arsenal, who have secured his services by triggering the €20m release clause in his contract.
The striker is reportedly unhappy with his playing time at the Emirates Stadium and looking for a way out. His nine starting appearances have returned seven goals and five assists for the Gunners.
With Unai Emery a long-time admirer of the striker from their days in La Liga, a move to Parc des Princes seems on the cards for Lucas Perez, whose ambitions to make the Spain squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia are driving him to seek a new challenge that would ensure him more playing time.
